This course introduces participants to essential site operations practices aligned with Saudi Aramco safety culture and operational standards. It focuses on practical, day-to-day activities that ensure safe, compliant, and efficient work execution on Aramco-controlled sites.
Participants will gain a clear understanding of permit systems, hazard recognition, equipment readiness, communication protocols, and emergency response expectations—reinforcing the principle that safety is everyone’s responsibility and that operational discipline is the foundation of incident-free performance.


Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Explain the purpose and responsibilities of a Work Permit Receiver (WPR) within the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
2. Correctly interpret Aramco safety signs and symbols used across project sites.
3. Demonstrate proper procedures for reporting near misses and incidents using approved communication tools.
4. Perform pre-use inspections on common site equipment to identify unsafe conditions.
5. Apply 5S housekeeping principles to maintain a safe and organized worksite.
6. Implement safe practices for material storage, including pipes and flammable substances.
7. Identify hazards and required controls when working near overhead power lines, including spotter duties.
8. Follow vehicle safety rules, including desert driving precautions and site speed limits.
9. Use clear radio communication, including phonetic alphabets and standard call protocols.
10. Respond effectively to oil and chemical spills using the appropriate spill kits and reporting steps.
